   The was another cottage on of the hill overlooking the Holy Island in Mulcahys field originally Fitzgibbons 'wgere lived Luke Aoray and his good little wife Anne Curtin .Luke was a fisherman by profession.He went on the lake almost every day rain or shine for over seventy years to his old tared cot which he made himself from a larch tree which he got from a landlord across the shannon.The tree he sawed into boards in his spare time and in a few weeks he succeeded in making a good substantial boat somewhat clumsily i must admit.The oars in themselves were a good load
