    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    My home is the townland of Dunaree. It is int he parish of Donaghmoyne. The meaning of the name Dunaree is the 'Fort of the Heather''. There are about fifteen families in Dunaree and roughly about fifty people in it. In this townland long ago there were two or three houses where there is only one now.
    There were two houses on our farm long ago. In this townland in the time of the Penal Laws there was a Mass Rock and it is still to be seen. The late and great Canon O'Connor erected a cross on the rock. The rock is flat and there are whins round it and there were beads and other things found in the ground around it when the people were ploughing the ground.
    The nearest lake to our townland is Lough Nageraman. There were
