- Warts
A cure for warts is to get a hazel stick and cut a notch on it for every wart you have. Then you must throw the stick over your left shoulder. When the stick decays the warts will be cured. It is said that if anyone lifts the stick before it decays the warts will be transferred to him.
Tooth-ache
A cure for tooth-ache is to put your arms around an ash tree. When your hands meet you should cut a slip in the bark and put a lock of hair from the back of your head in the slip. After a short while your tooth-ache will be cured.
Cold
Gather the following herbs wash and boil them, and put sugar on them and then boil them again, then strain the mixture. If you drink it you will be cured. These are the herbs:- Shamrock, Dandelion, Rose. Noble, Water grass,Mint and cuckoo,-soroll(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
