    The "cathaoir Tharlaigh". A stone chair built on the Coas shore of Loughegish by Tarlac Woods about the year 1790. Tarlac Woods lived in Fincarn, Broomfield, Castleblayney but used go to Loughegish to fish and made this chair that he could sit on while fishing. Remains of the chair are still to be seen*.

    The garraidh mór. A field at Laragh Castleblayney.
    *Tarlac Woods was the first "Woods" to live in Fincarn. He used make Spinning wheels.
