Overlooking Gallon- Curragh lake so peaceful calm and still,
The sunlight lies on the meadows bright,
As there fading from my view,
Farewell dear Greaghlough Mansion
A long farewell to you.

When I think on the pleasant evenings,
I spent within its walls.
Back to this troubled bosom,
Fond memory it recalls,
The doors are always open,
