The following prayer is said at night
"God keep the house from roof to floor. The twelve apostles guard the door. Four great Angels round my bed to my feet and to my head Matthew Mark Luke and John God bless the bed that I lie on"
Another prayer at night is "Here I lie for to sleep my soul I give to God to keep and if I die before I wake I pray to God my soul to take"
This prayer is said when a new moon is seen
"I see the new moon and the new moon sees me. God bless she new moon and God bless me Grace in the kitchen and grace in the hall, the grace of God be with us all"
