    there is ruins of an old church in Drumlane. It is in ruins for about four hundred years. there is a round tower and monastery in Drumlane. The round tower is built with cut stones with a cock and a hen cut on a stone on the north side of the building about five feet from the ground.
    there is a pass leading under ground from the round tower to the abbey. It is supposed that an angel built it at night.
    The candle sticks belonging to the altar and sacred things belonging to the church are in that pass under ground.
    The bell of the church is sunk in Drumland lake it was sunk there to hide it from the robbers.
    The abbey, church, and monastery was supposed to be tossed by Cromwell or his followers.
