Who would the fairy haunts destroy, Let them go by front or back.'' Just then as the dawn was coming they heard the loud baying of a pack of hounds. Three times the pack circled round the house and then disappeared. Exactly a year had passed and nothing happened until one morning in the summer, she told the old man to be careful as she had strange dreams the night before. That evening the old man came in from his work as usual and sat on the bench outside the door.
