  1. In olden times there used to be forks made in forges. These forks used to be three feet long. They used to have three grains. Each grains was at least seven and a half inches long.
    It was made by a man named Patrick Dunkan who made his living as a blacksmith.
    He also made spades which are about five feet long. The heads of the spades were about a foot long and seven inches wide. They are used still in the Turran Peat Works.
