  1. A crock of gold is supposed to be hidden in the walls of an old house. The house is in ruins. The walls still stand. It is called Duffy's house and is situated in Reynaun, near the Ferbane -Athlone road.
This story was told to my father by a man who is great for telling stories. He told this story one night a long time ago.
As well as a crock of gold there is supposed to be another treasure hidden there.
A man who died many years ago is supposed to be minding it at night.
