  1. Sore throat: Put roasted salt in a stocking and put it around your neck going to bed and it will relieve your throat again morning.
    Swollen Face: Get camomile and boil it, and when it well boiled, take it up and strain it and bathe your face.
    A Cut Finger: Get a cobweb and put it on your finger and it will stop the bleeding.
    A Burn: A man in Lemonaghan is noted for curing burn by licking the burn with his tongue. He first licks a lizard, an "alp luacra."
    Cure for Warts: A man in Kilcolgan, Michael Rourke, is noted for curing a wart by getting straws and making them in the from of a cross and putting them on the wart. Then he buries the straws and the wart disappears, as the straws rot.
