    track of the giant's five fingers are on it.
    Another giant threw a rock from Dudeum near Ferbane and it fell in Ballyduff. When it fell it split in two parts. It is to be seen in Pat Shea's field in Ballyduff.
    Old Hags.
    The only hags who lived around here were the twelve Hags of Bruntullow. These lived in a cave under the hill. They were very cruel and the people were very much afraid of them. The story is already told in this book of how they were driven away from the place.
