  1. There are few standing stones in our Parish, one in Clonascra was thrown from Clonlyon by a giant. His fingers are to be seen on it. There are 3 standing stones in one field belonging to Mr. Kennedy Bloomhill. These have been described already. One is the Criss Cross so called because their is a cross on it the other has the track of St. Keiran's Horses foot and the third of St. Keirans cows tail.
    There are no ornamented stones in this Parish and there is a very famous one in Clonfanlough not very far away.
