    (1) The sgagh field ( from Irish sceach a bush )
    (2) Cnoc a thirín. ( This is the highest hill in the district )
    (3) Gleann a' leaca
    (4) Gleann Eibhlin
    (5) The Park ( an pháirc )
    (6) Glen a varg ( Gleann a' bhfearg )
    This glen is so called because there was a quarrel there and a girl named Mary killed.
    (7) Gleann na míoltóg.
    (8) Gleann a bhacais ( In this valley a lame man once lived )
    (9) Hurrish Gurrish
    (10) Brackens garden
    (11) Bun Sgibeen
