“Hail full of Grace the Lord is with thee, may I partake of that grace.”
Hail full of Grace the Lord is with thee, may I partake of that grace. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed be St Anne thy mother of whom thou wert born without spot or stain. O Virgin Mary and of thee was born Jesus Christ the son of thy God.
As I lie down on my right side.
To God I give my soul to guide
There are four corners on my bed
There are four angels on them spread
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
God bless the bed that I lie on.
These two prayers should be said before going to bed at night.
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary at midnight in Bethlehem in piercing cold at that hour. Vouchsafe o my God to hear my prayers and grant my petitions through the merits of our Saviour Jesus Christ and his blessed mother amen.
This prayer is to be said 15 times each day four weeks before Christmas.
The following prayer is to be said before going to bed
Night is falling Mother dear the long day is o'er.
And before thy love image I am kneeling once more.
To thank thee for keeping me safe through the day(continues on next page)- Collector
