    In this district some people are particular about the days on which they do certain things and Friday is supposed to be the luckiest day. The old people considered washing of feet and cutting of hair Friday's work and this habit is supposed to keep away sickness for the year. People are loth to begin work such as ploughing, house building etc on Saturday because they say "Saturday's beginning makes a tedious ending." Saturday is considered an unlucky day for changing from one house to another. Patients are seldom discharged from hospital on Saturday as there is an old saying "Saturday's fitting makes a short sitting." Wednesday in this district is usually the day for weddings. The old rhyme says Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth. Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for (Cr)Losses. Friday for crosses. Saturday no luck at all. There is also another rhyme about births. Monday's child is fair of face. Tuesday's child is full of grace. Wednesday's child is full of woe. Thursday's child has far to go. Friday's child is loving and giving. Saturday's
