coffin with her. One of the men servant who saw the jewellery being put in the coffin thought it a shame to bury such wealth. He resolved to go that night and open the tomb and steal the treasure. That night when all was quiet he went and opened the tomb removed the lid off the coffin and gathered all the jewellery together. She had beautiful rings on he fingers, he tried to pull the ring off, but in vain. He got his knife and cut the fingers, the blood gushed out and immediately the lady came to life and sat up. He got the fright of his life and ran away leaving all the jewellery behind him. She called him but it was no use. She went back to the house and frightened everybody out of their wits before she could make them understand what happened. She had been only in a trance and the bleeding had brought to life. They searched everywhere for the servant but he never was found. The tomb remains open from that day to this.
