Cill-Dub is a field near my home. Long ago there was a church. "Cill Dub" means the black church.
Raheen Dub . so called because a chieftain lived in it long ago.
Bailearach Hill - It is a very high hill near my home. A number of families were evicted out if it after the famine.
Kelly's Cross Roads so called because people the name of Kelly lived at it.
The Mill Field. Long ago there was a road down past this field worked by the power of water overhead. The stones are there to this day.
Agher Sideog is a little field between Agher and Clarkstown; there is a hedge round it. It is said the fairies lived in it long ago.
Dardáins is a field, where there was a house in which Father McKeever was born. This priest is buried in Gallow.
