Boots are made and repaired in this district. If the upper of a boot is broken the shoemaker puts up a caoibín in it. If the sole or heel is broken he puts up a baurricín in it.
The shoemakers are not as plentiful now in this district as they were some years(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
