they had begun to work.They covered up the hole again and went home in peace.
Thirty years after Cahill dreamed the same dream three nights in succession .So he prepared agin to face the music and took his eldest son Michael to accompany him.Calling at Collin's in Castlepatkhe took a member of that family named John with him ,and set to work as we mentioned before .They worked on for a considerable time without further success,but after a while Michael struck the flag .Thereupon they heard a terrific rumbling noise underground accompanied by the loud crowing of a rooster at the upper side of the castle..The two young fellows took to flight ,Michael following in close pursuit.The poor old man ,after his hard night's toil was left to play his own retreat over the grave of the Dane.Michael has now crossed the Jordan .R.I.P.
