Then the man told her to take the lid off the pot and see were they boiled and she said they could not be. But however she took the lid and she got a terrible fright for it was full of meat and cabbage. Then she thanked God for all the good turn that was done for her and her children. Then she looked around to thank the man and he was gone for it was supposed to be a messenger from God.
