Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Once upon a time a man dreamt of gold in the castle of Ballysheedy. He told two of his chums about his dream and asked them to come and dig for the gold and they said "yes". Then they arranged a certain night to do it. When everything was ready to dig for the gold the two chums said that they would play a trick on him. One of them was to come and dig for the gold and the other was to go up on the top of the castle and dress himself in a goat skin with chains around his feet. The man that dreamt about the gold did not know about the plan his chums had carried out. He brought with two bottles of holy water and a Coulter of a plough, when he was going to dig for the gold. Before he started to dig for the gold he shook holy water around the middle of the castle in a circle aroud where he was going to dig for the gold. He was only a few minutes digging when the chains began to rattle on the top of the castle. He listened a minute and he told his chum to dig on that they should be near the gold. After a few minutes digging the horns began to appear on the top step of the castle and at that when his chum saw the ghost he ran away. The man that dreamt about the gold did not mind the ghost but kept digging away. The ghost began to come down step by step until he came on level
