  1. On another occasion. Willie Brennan was in a place called Ballylooby. In a certain farmers house he often took refuge. It so happened that there were seven brothers in this house and a quarrel between themselves in this house and Willie.The next night he came and burned the house, but the brothers escaped uninjured. On the following Sunday the Parish Priest denounced the outrage. When Willie heard this he sent a message to asl the friend to withdraw what he had said on that he should shoot him, off the alter. The priest took no notice of the threat, but before the week was out, Willie was captured in a place called clownmore. He was stabbed to death by the military under a heap of ferns and his mother said " O Willie Brennan, tis in your cradle I wish you had died"
