There was a man going home from a neighbouring house he had to go up an old lane. There was a fort inside the ditch at the right-hand side. At each side of the lane there was a high black-thorn ditch when he came to the fort he walked out through the hedge, & He went along for a time until he discovered where he was. He turned back again and he got out on the lane, and he went out over the other ditch again when he went out he got down on his knees and followed the wire which brought him home.
