  2. Forts are very plentiful in Ireland. There is a fort in Dovea and it is near Dovea House. There were trees and bushes growing around the fort. I have heard that a man went out to cut down a bush and when he was cutting he heard great cracking of whips and galloping of horses. He had to go away and in a couple of days to come back again and in spite of all he cut down the bush. He did not live very long after.
