Those that are playing are trying to get over to the opposite side to get a cipin. There are generally an even number playing so that each one is playing against the opposite one. If one girl ran over to get a cipin the other one would follow her and if she got across the line without getting caught she would have the cipin won. It continues in that way until the five cipins are taken over to either side, and the game is won when either of the players have ten cipins got.
