The weather is always very bad for those nine days. The Reaḃaċ days are also called the days of the Brindled cow.
- There is a fort at the little bridge on the lands of Mrs Ryan Clohoan. It is said that the O'Kennedy chieftains lived there long ago. Forts are hardly ever tilled and bushes are seldom cut in them as the fairies are said to the have lived in them one time.
