    ...to the fairies. Some time afterwards one of his cows fell sick. One night a fairy appeared to him and told him not to cut any more of the tree but to go home and put down a good fire and leave the door open. About twelve o clock, he heard beautiful music coming up the yard and several fairies come in and sang and then disappeared. Next day the mans cow was better.
