    Many of the old people know more about common ailments than the doctors.
    Toothache which is common is cured if the man does not shave on a Sunday morning and the woman is not to comb her hair.
    Ringworm is cured by a certain prayer, and the burning of wheat. The oil of the wheat is applied on the sore.
    This is found never to fail.
    The next common ailment is the sty on the eye and the directions for this cure are:- to get the thorn off a gooseberry bush and a wedding ring and put them to
