    The following song was composed by Larry Dillon who lived in Rathcabbin and who was a poet.
    One day while Larry was in a graveyard around Rathcabbin there was a Protestant clergy man being buried. Before the clay was put over the coffin he said.
    Here lies a lamb of Lucifer's flock
    A useless ram let no man mock
    For forty years he preached and lied
    For which God damned him when he died
    One Sunday a tailor went to Larry and said
    I have no spade to dig my dinner
    Which is a poor way to serve a sinner
    Them that's fasting since last
