  2. There is a story told about a women who bought a new pair of boots for her son and then gave him all the work to do saying Seaneen bring me the water as you have the boots and so on. So Seaneen flung of the boots saying he would prefer bare feet and he ease.

  3. There was an old woman from Mallow by the name of Mary Buckley looking for alms in this locality. She never wore a boot in her life. She was delighted to be barefooted.
