- The people used not wear any shoes long ago until they would be getting married. In the cold water the people used to wash their feet long ago and they used never throw out the water that would be washing the feet until the morning because the people say that it is not right to throw out the water that people would have washing their feet at night time. It is the custom to have the small people go barefoot part of the year. the are no shoes made around here or repaired. Some old people calls a patch. Some people used wear wooden soled shoes and they are worn always. They bought them in towns. There was no leather tanned around here not no one never wore hides.
