  1. There was an old couple living in Baile ’n Chalaidh – they both died a few years ago. Cuinnleán Dudley was the name of the man and Máire Cuinnleán was the wife or “Máire Kerry” she was sometimes called because she was from over across somewhere on the Kerry side. Cuinnleán picked her up sometime he was north selling fish. Máire was constantly talking and she used have Cuinnleán annoyed telling him yarns and reading out of the paper
