- In years gone by a lot of Dursey boats used go to Kenmare selling fish. This day, they found this fox dead near the boat and one of them threw him into the boat, and the brought him away to Dursey. The third man wasn't landed when out jumped the fox on the rock and he made off from them up towards the hill.
