  1. There were two Dursey men coming home from seining one night. They were both from Baile an Chalaidh, and one was a little distance behind the other. When over halfway from the shore, the man that was last was trying to catch up to the first man, and when he loooked close, what did he see but a dog right up to his heels. He got frightened and he began to shout at the man in front to wait for him but he seemed to take no notice nor did he see the dog although he was quite close to his heels all the time. The last man was nearly getting a weakness, but the two of them made the house alright.
    The first man didn't know there was anything wrong and he never saw the dog although he was up to his heels the whole time.
