    Peats Mór walked to town (Castletown) from the Sound another day and he brought a bag of wool, a horse collar, a sock of a plough and the coulter of a plough with him. It was an extraordinary load to walk to Castletown with.

    Jimín Donnchadh’s (ÓSúilleabháin) grand-mother walked to Castletown and brought home a churn (a dasher churn) on her back and a stone of salt inside in it, and made a churn in it the same evening after coming home.
