  1. I knew a man one time and he told me he caught a Leprachaun. The mans name was Reynolds. This is the way he caught him.
The man was walking about the field and he saw a little man beside him. He put out his two hands to catch him. He caught him and he kept his two eyes on him. The man asked him where he would get a pot of gold and the Leprachaun said. There is a black dog coming behind'. When the man took his eyes off him he went away. This is the story told in my district about the leprachaun.
