  2. There was once an ancient old place where lived a woman and her only son, their names were Kelly's. Their house was in need of thatch so the son set out this day to cut scallops. He had to cross a river by walking on a plank there was for the purpose.
    When Paddy was cutting scallops for a time he looked around and saw a man coming towards him he was running his best. The man's name was Paddy Flaherty. You seem to be in a great hurry said Paddy Kelly. Will you tell me and you Paddy Kelly I was sent in all haste to tell you your uncle
