  1. When I was young I made a "Didgy Dodgy". I went out in the field and I gathered cowslips. I broke the stems off the cowslips. Then I tied a piece of thread around the blossoms of the cowslips in the shape of a ball. In some places they are called "Didgy Dodgys" and more places "Toss Balls".
The way I played with the "Didgy Dodgy" was I threw it up in the air and when throwing it up in the air I said these words.
"Toss Ball, Toss Ball please tell me. How many years have I to go to school.
Each time I threw it up that represented one year.
