    in Annatrim. He had three brothers Daniel, John and James the first who lived in Paddock, marries Elizabeth Fitzpatrick of Mountrath and was father of most Rev.Daniel Delaney, Bishop of Kildare and Loighlin who died 1814.
    Rev. Ed. Fitzpatrick became P.P. 1771. He is a native of this county. He lived at Clonin and died there 1776. His death was entered in the "Gentlemen's Magazine" as follows "Died at Clone (Clonin) Mr. Edmund Fitzpatrick a Romish clergyman, He rests in Annatrim under a monument. The site of his residence is still pointed out as "Fr Ned's Fitzpatrick on Mr Daniel Campion's land in Clonin. His father Patk Fitzpatrick
