    Rev. Louglin Deegan was P.P in 1669. He is mentioned in the will of WM, Cuddihy, Inchanisly, Killanure in 1674. He died in 1681-82. Very Rev. John Cassin D.D was P.P. 1701-18. Rev, Edmund Peters was next P.P he is mentioned in the will of Edmund Nolan, Borris-in-Ossory 1724. He officated in the old penal times chapel of Camross.Dies in 1737. Very Rev. William Delaney next took charge of the parish. He was born in Upperwoods in Joe Lalors house in Knocknagad. He died in Feb, 1771 at his residence Killeen ( occupied in 1905 by John Guilfoyle and is buried with his forefathers
