Caoilte ran round the house keeping them from breaking away. When day dawned Caiolte brought all the animals out. The people laughed and talked about "Caoiltes rabble" The high King then let Finn go.When Finn was free the animals broke away and back to their home. Caoilte won honour and thanks from Finn,One time the king and all his men were feasting. Fionn went to the King. The king asked him what did he want. Fionn asked him for his friendship and protection. The king gave them to Fionn. He also gave a great welcome to Fionn.
