    which was over the chapel, so in order to attend Sunday Mass the people took it down off the Chapel, and placed it over the school. Every Sunday afterwards, the bell was rung over the school, so that the people might be in time for Mass.

  2. There was an old school at the back of the Concert Hall, in Patrick Street. The principal teacher there was Mr. Thomas Moorhead, and he was considered one of the best teaching men in Ireland. This school was attended by about one hundred and thirty pupils.
