    Deineadh coinnle i nGleann Beithe fadó. Bhíodh mulla agus geir ag an nduine a bhíodh á ndéanamh.
    My grandmother told me this in English, she has only a little Irish. To make a candle you would get the mould and put it standing into something that would keep it, such as a soft sod of turf. Then you would get the wick and put it down into the mould and out through a small hole. You would then knot the wick to keep it.
