    When the sun rises red in the morning it is the shepherd's warning because he knows not to go far from his home because it is a sure sign of rain and if the sun goes down red in the evening it is the shepherd's delight because he knows that the next day will be fine. The old people say that when the moon is on her back there is going to be rain. When there is a "brugh" or a ring round the moon the people say there is going to be rain. When the stars are muddy or not sparkling it is a sign of rain or when the sky is full of shining stars it is a
