Many years ago there was a man in Breslau called Tomas Tivan. Once a week he used to go to Boyle for the groceries, and he also used to get a twenty stone bag of flour. His house was about two miles from the main road and was situated in the midst of a bog, where no cart could be brought. He used to take the bag on his back and never rest until he arrived at his own house.
