Many years ago Michael Farrell was coming from Sligo at a late hour in the night. He had a horse and cart with two ton of wheat on it. When he was coming up near his house the wheel went down in a drain and was upset.
He was not able to get it out. He went in for a man named Mult Ganly who lived in a small house on the side of the road. He said to Ganly would he help him out with his cart and Ganly replied, he would only be too glad to help him. When he arrived at the spot where the cart was, he told the man to take out the horse. The man was greatly surprised. He caught the back of the cart with one hand and pulled the cart with the two tons, out on the side of the road.
