Disease or distemper in Ireland."This is an extract from an old poem ascribed to Saint Columba who received his sentence of exile from St. Molaise at Ahamplish Cross. The exact site of this Cross cannot now be discerned.Epitaphs in verse are not so common in Ireland as they are in England and other countries, and very few of them are to be met with in the County Sligo.
