  1. A Shipwreck
About a hundred years ago a ship was sailing on the Atlantic. Some people say it was from France and more said it was from Spain. The weather was very bad and there was a big storm at the time. The ship was in Donegal Bay and the wind was blowing from the North West.
It was blown in at Pall Gorm in Aughris in County Sligo. The people on shore could see the skip coming in a bit but it would be blown out again and at last it was see no more. The Captain's wife was on the ship and she was dressed in white. The ship hit the rock and all were drowned.
The people said that the Captain's wife is seen around Dunmadden and Rathglass when anyone would die. When they see her three people will die in Dunmadden or Rathglass within the year.
