   In olden times people nearly all depended on cures but at present they are dying away.

Holy wells are fairly plentiful in the country there is one in Aughvas and another in Tullybraden near the town of Mohill and there is also one outside the town of Drumshanbo and Lossar well is its name people go to these wells once each year and get cured of their ailments. Another cure for warts is to get a black snail and
